Alcohol Free Event

We hosted our very first zero alcohol event named ‘Fresh Feb’ at our local speciality brew bar — The Monk Coffee Roasters in Santa Eulalia.

This time last year we formed a collaboration with The Monk, after being customers of theirs for some time. With their strong community spirit and a bright, open, modern space. We loved the concept of merging our love for beverages into one event. Named appropriately ‘Cocktails & Coffee Social Club’.

Fast forward a year on and we have successfully hosted 8 pop-ups from Spring time, through to Summer, Halloween and Christmas! With a new round of speciality cocktails (and mocktails) each time, working with seasonal produce as well as Monk’s coffee to match with the overall ambience.


Placebo Cocktails

To kick start Season 2 of our collab with Monk we decided to try a different concept. A zero alcohol event, creating not only mocktails but Placebo Cocktails with added benefits. After many people choosing sobriety or drinking less, it felt right to start this — proof that we can still have fun guilt & hangover free!

The result was truly rewarding — guests loved the Placebo Cocktails we created, and it helped everyone at the event feel connected and on the same frequency. We served the drinks with the same care and presentation as any crafted cocktail, complete with garnishes that completed the experience.

As Monk’s resident DJ set a party atmosphere, it was the perfect afternoon to dance, bring the community together and leave feeling as fresh as ever!



Here’s the drinks we curated:

Nogroni
Our artisanal take on a negroni, without the alcohol. Using a ‘Gin’ made in-house with juniper berries and a complex blend of 10-12 botanicals, fresh herbs & roots. Fresh orange & grapefruit reduction forming a Campari-like flavour. Finished with a red grape maceration to create a non-alcoholic vermouth.

V-Day Sour

A coffee infused sour inspired by Valentines Day. Starting with a fresh cherry reduction, soothing rose petal & hibiscus tea infusion, Monk’s speciality Ziwa coffee and a touch of Chocolate Bitters.

Shrub Fizz

A probiotic rich spritz. With a seasonal blood orange shrub (drinking vinegar), powerful Vitamin C touch of camu camu topped with 0,0% Cava and PBI’s energising elixir drop to finish.

Macarita

A feel-good, guilt-free margarita. Using maca and cold pressed ginger as the ‘spirit’, raw honey for the sweet touch, coconut water for added electrolytes. Served in a martini glass with a salty, lime rim and finished with a spray of sea water.
